Terms of Service
- You must be 13 or older to play.
- Play fair: no cheating, harassment, or attacks on the game.
- LeetKO is free and provided as is. We can change it, and we can suspend accounts that break these rules.
1. Agreeing to these terms
LeetKO is run by Jake Lee ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing LeetKO, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use LeetKO.
2. Who can play
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
- You may not use LeetKO if the law forbids you from doing so, or if we previously removed you.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep your password and sign-in methods secure.
- One person per account. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Playing fair
You agree not to:
- Cheat, including using modified clients, scripts, bots, or automation, forging results, or exploiting bugs. If you find a bug, please report it to us.
- Choose a username that is offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, or that impersonates someone else.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.
- Interfere with LeetKO or its players, for example by overloading servers, probing for security weaknesses, or accessing accounts or data that are not yours.
- Collect other players' information, or use LeetKO for anything illegal.
5. Your code
You keep ownership of the code you type. You give us permission to store, process, and analyze it only as needed to run LeetKO, such as scoring attacks and keeping a match in sync. We delete live match data as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
LeetKO, including its software, art, sounds, challenges, and name, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to play LeetKO for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute it, or make it available to others in a way these terms do not allow.
7. Ads and changes to LeetKO
LeetKO is free. We may show ads in the future, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may change, pause, or stop any part of LeetKO at any time. Matches are unranked, and we do not guarantee that the game, your results, or your history will always be available.
8. Suspension and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or delete your account, or remove your username, if you break these terms, if we need to protect other players or LeetKO, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.
9. No warranties
LeetKO is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that LeetKO will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of LeetKO. Our total liability for any claim relating to LeetKO is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
11. Your responsibility
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs if a claim is brought against us because you broke these terms or the law while using LeetKO.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Singapore, unless the consumer laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the game before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about LeetKO.
